Be there when the Coast decides to go out.
Love Coast lists every legitimate event on the Mississippi Gulf Coast free. That listing is the public service, and it is not for sale. What sponsors buy is position on top of it — a badge, a boost, a Featured slot, a name on the frame. Everything paid is labelled Sponsored, and every surface below belongs to exactly one layer, so nothing here is ever sold twice.
Counts from the site's latest build. The live data feed updates them when it answers.
Stage 1 — the foundation
Roster
The subscription layer, for the Coast's own venues and restaurants. A member's listings carry a partner badge and an automatic boost everywhere they appear, members stand in the partner directory, and Premium members hold one reserved Featured slot a month. It is built first because thirty local businesses paying to be here is the proof every other layer sells on.
- Reserved Featured slots 10 per month, one per Premium member, drawn from the Featured pool
- Partner directory the directory of partner businesses
- Partner badge + auto-boost on members' own listings, everywhere they appear
Stage 2 — added on top
Volume
The open layer, for anyone with a date — one-off promoters, festivals, a show that will never join a roster. Buy a Featured slot or a Weekend Headliner one at a time, or take one of the sponsored cards on the home page, an event page, the blog or the calendar feed. Two Featured buys in a month cost what Premium Roster costs, and that is deliberate: Volume is the ladder up to the Roster, and a promoter who climbs it frees their slot for the next one.
- Open Featured pool 28 Featured slots per month, open to anyone with a date
- Weekend Headliner slots 8 per month, never more than 2 per weekend
- After Current card the home page, directly after the Current carousel
- Event page card every event page, below the content
- Beside the blog a 336 x 280 block inside a story
- Calendar feed line the calendar feed, after the day's list
Stage 3 — the top layer
Anchors
The association layer, for brands that are not venues — a bank, a health system, a dealer group. An anchor's name rides the frame: the site's Presenting Sponsor, a category's hero lockup, the sponsored card midway down a lane. Anchors never take an event slot, and at no layer can a sponsor veto, bury or buy out a competitor's free listing.
- Site Presenting Sponsor the naming lockup that rides the guide's frame
- Category Sponsor hero lockups the hero of a sponsored lane page
- Front page banner the home page, after the last card band
- Mid-lane card every lane page, before the full day list
Proof, not promises
Counted by us, readable by you.
Impressions and clicks on sponsored placements are counted first-party, on this origin, with no cookies, no client ids and no third-party trackers: a placement counts when it actually reaches a reader's screen, and a reader counts once a day per placement. Sponsors get a monthly report with their placements' impressions, clicks and readers. You will not find traffic claims on this page, because the numbers we can stand behind are the counted ones — ask, and we will walk you through a real report.
